Y’all, Michelle Obama is such a PHENOMENAL woman!! Many, many years ago, I created a list of people I just had to meet in this lifetime and she was in the top five. I had so many questions to ask– What kept her motivated? What kept her focused? How did she continue to smile in the midst of all that hatred? Honestly, I had never met or seen another woman with such poise, strength and grace. I needed to meet her. I needed whatever she had to rub off on me. Smile Anyway, we have yet to meet. Fingers crossed that it will happen in the near future. However, until then, I’ll embrace her words of wisdom from, “The Light We Carry” and “Becoming”; and I will always go high! Yes, going high is so much more than a motto!
